sequencing (avoid, minimize, and mitigate). An exception is provided for trees that meet the following definition:

50% exposed, or having been exposed to wind through within the past 10 years,AND where there is a residence or
residential accessory structure within a tree length of the trunk, or where the top of a bluff or steep slope is endangered.A
Geotechnical report may be required.

RE: 773 Windjammer—Tree/Brush Trimming Application
Dear Myron and Karin,
The 10-day posting period for your Tree/Brush trimming application has expired. There were
no objections. PRC recommends:
#1) 13" Alder at front of driveway: PRC does not recommend approval to remove this tree.
#2) The meter post; PRC recommends that this be referred to PUD.
#3) 13" Hemlock with no top; PRC recommends approval to remove this tree.
#4) 9" Alder on side of home; PRC recommends approval to remove this tree.
#5) Trees/Huckleberries on side of home; PRC recommends approval to remove trees that
are 6" or less in diameter and to trim huckleberries to a height of no less than 3 feet from
the ground. (see photo)
#6) Small fir trees along the path; PRC recommends approval to remove only dead trees
and dead branches.
#7) 3' Fir in back of deck; PRC does not recommend approval to remove this tree as it is
within 50 feet of the bluff and needs county approval to do so. However, PRC does
recommend approval to trim branches that are approaching the home. (see photo)
#8) Large Cedar on view side of home; PRC recommends approval to trim branches for
view enhancement (see photo).
#9) Small firs on view side of home PRC recommends approval to top firs to a height of no
less than 8 feet for view enhancement.
#10) Huckleberries/brush on view side of home; PRC recommends approval to trim
huckleberries/brush to a height of no less than 3 feet from the ground.
The HPMA Board of Directors approved as recommended on June 9th. Permit T1720 is
enclosed.
