1) A section of the proposed retaining wall extends into the road right of way as evidenced by the recorded survey, auditor file number 1946772. The Mason
County Public Works Department has issued the owner a notice that if the retaining wall location creates a risk the retaining wall may need to be
demolished in the future as required bythe department.

2) Owner/builder assumes all responsibility if drainfield/reserve area is encumbered.
A. Drainfield/ Reserve requires a 1 Oft setback from all footing/foundations.
B. Septic tank(s) requires 5ft setback from all footing/foundations.
C. No foundation drains within 30ft, down gradient of drainfield/reserve area.
D. No cut banks 30 feet down gradient of any drainfield.
This permit becomes null and void if work orconstruction authorized is not commenced within 180 days,or if construction or work is suspended for a period of 180 days at any time after work is
commenced. Evidence of continuation of work is a progress inspection within the 180 day period. Final inspection must be approved before building can be occupied. Proof of continuation of

Envirotech Engineering has completed this geotechnical/structural evaluation for a recently constructed reinforced
concrete retaining wall at the referenced property. The following analysis provides soil, wall and structural parameters,
including expected surcharges, followed by an analysis and conclusions for existing steel reinforcement, sliding and
overturning. Although surcharges were accounted for, traffic impacts to the railing were not assessed. Design sheets
