I erm not sure that Fire Apparatus will be able to negotiate the sharp turns or the steep grade and loose gravel road surface. The outcome could be catastrophic if our Fire Engine` or Water Tenders are unable to reach the residence in case of fire. I asked Mason County Fire Warden Molsworth to make :i site visit with me as a. result of my concerns. The Warden happened to be i❑ the parking lot of the Fire Department talking,to me about an unrelated issue when we began to discuss the steep driveway. On Tuesday, Scptcmb41- 18, 2007 we drove to the construction site. As I drove up the driveway in my Ford )Explorer the tires spun to get traction due to the loose gravel. The issue is your driveway access is beyond 14% grade and the driveway material is to loose , and the turn is too tight off of the easement road to your driveway. Fire Dist #3 Grapeview Chief Graeber and Mason County Fire Warden Robert Molesworth did a site visit and this letter is in response to their concerns of access.
