Project Description:
Install a 4-foot band of 18-24 inch rip rap rock by hand in an area of 25-ft. wide by
10-ft. deep to secure soil & gravel erosion at bottom of an existing driveway access to
Case Inlet.

This permit, with conditions, is granted pursuant to the Mason County Resource Ordinance
(Chapter 17.01 MCC.) Nothing in this permit shall excuse the applicant from compliance with
any other federal, state, or local statutes, ordinances, or regulations applicable to this project.
This permit may be rescinded if the permitee fails to complete the project as proposed or fails
to comply with the st dards of this ordinance.

Conditions:
1.) Site Plan
Approved per dimensions and alignment of rocks as submitted site plan; the April 18,
2013 plan has the configuration of rocks at the upper portion of beach ramp that are
subject to this review.

Resource Ordinance
The applicant acknowledges that the project will be completed as proposed, so that the
project will be consistent with all applicable standards of the Mason County Resource
Ordinance. Future work within the vegetation buffer and shoreline critical area will be
reviewed by the Dept. of Community Development prior to starting such work

Shoreline Management Act
The proposed project must be consistent with all applicable policies and other provisions
of the Shoreline Management Act, its rules, and the Mason County Shoreline Master
Program.

Construction Debris Removal
All construction and demolition debris must be removed from the shore area after project
completion. Proper disposal of construction debris must be on land in such a manner that
debris cannot enter or cause water quality degradation of State waters.

Work must be done in the dry time periods or low tide to help prevent disturbance of
unstable soil layers and uncontrollable mass wasting in work area.
