Dear David:
I am in receipt of your request for records dated February 5, 2010. I received the request
on the 10`h of February and therefore wanted to let you know that I am working on it.
The request is quite lengthy and in order to do a thorough job I will need time to do the
best job that I can for you. This will involve contacting other departments and waiting for
their response. Due to the nature of your request it will require the involvement of several
departments and possible we don't have what information you are seeking at all, but we
won't know until we look.

Dear Public Record Officials:
I write pursuant to Washington's Public Records Act and seek copies of the following documents:
1. All correspondence or communications to Mason County from Ken Van Buskirk
concerning the Pacific Northwest Salmon Center between January, 2009 and the present.
2. All correspondence or communication to Mason County from any person or entity
concerning traffic related to the Pacific Northwest Salmon Center between January 2009 and the
present.
3. All correspondence or communications within Mason County, including between
County Staff or between County Staff and County Commissioners, concerning the installation of
traffic counters near the Pacific Northwest Salmon Center.
4. All documents that identify the cost of installing traffic counters near the Pacific
Northwest Salmon Center and where those funds came from.
5. All documents that identify any other locations (other than the Pacific Northwest
Salmon Center)that the County installed traffic counting devices in Mason County between January
between January 2009 and the present.
6. All written policies regarding the County's installation of traffic counting devices
within the County.
