I recently evaluated the above noted parcel in response to a complaint received by the
Mason County Department of Community Development. The complainant expressed
concerns regarding the deposition of fill material in an area that appears to be
jurisdictional wetland.
I am writing to request that you contact me at (360)427-9670 ext. 593 to put me in
contact with the appropriate representative who can discuss this issue. Absent
information provided to the contrary, it appears that fill has been deposited in a
jurisdictional wetland. Compliance requirements will apply if this is the case. No further
development activity,including deposition of fill material, is to be initiated until this
matter is resolved.
