HomeMy WebLinkAbout2024-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement for Juvenile Detention - Scrivener's ErrorMEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING Between Mason County And Mason County Juvenile Detention Teamsters Union Local No. 252 Mason County and Teamsters Local No. 252 representing Juvenile Detention agree to adjust the current Collective Bargaining Agreement as prescribed below. WHEREAS, the parties are in a current Collective Bargaining Agreement with a term expiring 2027; WHEREAS, a scrivener's error has been identified in Section 8.5 Comp Time; NOW, THEREFORE, The following language shall be added to Section 8.5 Comp Time after the first paragraph: "Employees hired before January 1, 2011, may accrue up to two hundred forty (240) hours of comp time. All comp time after the limit of two hundred forty (240) hours is reached shall be paid at time and one-half (1/2) or used by the employee as time off. All unused comp time will be paid at the end of each year. However, at the employee's request, up to twenty-four (24) hours of comp time is permitted to carry over into the following year." "Employees hired on or after January 1, 2019, no rollover comp time can be banked, and the allowed eighty (80) hours of accrued come time must be used or paid out by the end of each year. If the employee does not use all their accumulated comp time, they will receive a payout for the unused comp time on the December 25'h payroll check." DATED this / day of // (arc,k , 2024.
