TRIBAL CONTRACT WITH PEDIATRIC NURSE PRACTITIONER Mr. Banner asked for permission to enter into a contract with Squaxin and Skokomish Tribes Sharon Bisser, Nursing Supervisor, explained that the County would provide 1/2 day per week for well child/immunization (four hours per week). She felt this would answer a real need for immunization. The Squaxin Tribe had asked for a "well child clinic" last year. The cost figure for this program is $350. Nurse Practitioner - $16/hour + 10% _ administration fee; $17.60/hour X average of 17.33 hours per month = $305.01 + mileage 52 weeks/year 2,080 miles per year divided by 12 = 173 miles per month X 0.26 = $45 = Total of $350.00 Chairperson Gibson asked if the Tribe has the authority to contract for the services on their own. Ms. Bisser responded, yes, the County would need to furnish vaccines through the state process. Mr. Banner added that the biggest chunk of money for Personal Health is from Consolidated Contracts.
