Board Member Porter stated that in current regulations the Board of Health was authorized to
adopt fees for those services which were just adopted. However, the Board of County
Commissioners has the authority to adopt fees regarding the Solid Waste Program. She had
hoped to take one action to adopt all fee revisions, but it was not an option. She noted that
notification should be sent to everyone who testified at the November 23rd hearing that their
testimony would be honored at the County Commission hearing. Mr. Banner responded that he
would see that this notification took place. Chairperson Hunter noted that the earlier hearing
testimony would be transferred as part of the Commission hearing, and it would not be necessary
for them to testify again unless they wished to.
Board Members Porter/Faughender moved/seconded that the Board of Health meeting be
adjourned at 10:27 a.m. Motion carried unanimously.
