Mason County Water/Sewer Utility Rate Outreach
Background/Executive Summary:
During the annual budget process,the Board suspended all 2024 CPI-U rate increases set by Chapter 13,
MCC to complete customer outreach. Commissioners requested a review of the materials and outreach
format for Beard's Cove water,Belfair sewer,North Bay sewer and Rustlewood water and sewer
customers. Rate increases will take effect once the new water and sewer rate structures are reviewed and
implemented

Revisions to county code
March Mail water consumption history and rate calculator
March Outreach via web, in-person and/or virtual meetings for each utility
April 15 Brief Commissioners(summary of outreach and proposed code/rate revisions)
April 23 Board action on code revisions and rate changes
