This decision is based on our finding that:
The hearing was held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
John Provato, Appellant, was present at the hearing. IdaMae Jensen, Assessor's Representative, and
Assessor Patti McLean were present.
The Appellant did not provide any evidence that the Assessor was in error.
The Assessor provided four comparable sales ranging in value from $681,570 to $808,867. The value of
the subject parcel fell below this range.
The Board found no clear, cogent, or convincing evidence that the Assessor was in error.
Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $134,640 and improvements at $533,310 for a total of
$667,950 for the subject parcel.

The hearing was held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Barbara Thomson, Appellant, was present at the hearing. IdaMae Jensen, Assessor's Representative, and
Assessor Patti McLean were present.
The Appellant provided multiple sales of similar properties in Lakeland Village.
The Assessor provided four comparable sales, one of which was provided by the Appellant, ranging in
value from $722,072 to $964,334. The veracity of the sales comparison chart was called into question, due
to mathematical errors.
Therefore, the Board chose to overrule the assessed value and set the new value for the land at $195,000
and improvements at $500,000 for a total of$695,000 for the subject parcel.
