HARSTENE ISLAND I -I FUND ESTABLISHED
Whereas, by reason of conditions which could not be
reasonably foreseen at the time of making the budget for the year
1988, it is necessary to establish a budget for the Mason County
Harstene Island Infiltration -Inflow (I -I) Study to receive a
Department of Ecology State Grant and Funding from the Home
Owners Association of Harstene Pointe and the Quadrant Company
for an infiltration -inflow study of Harstene Pointe water system.
Whereas, a public hearing was conducted according to
published notice in the official paper, as provided by law.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Mason County
Commissioners that a special revenue fund known as the Harstene
Island I -I Fund is established. The total appropriated amount
available for expenditure in 1988 will be eighty thousand dollars
($80,000.00).
The County Auditor is hereby authorized to issue warrants
for regularly approved claims for such purposes up to the said
amount.
