FORMATION OF UNION PARKS & RECREATION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners received a petition for formation of the
Union Parks & Recreation District, and called for the submission of a proposition to the
qualified voters of the Union area precincts at the General Election, held on November 7,
1989, and
WHEREAS, the Mason County Auditor, per Resolution No. 84-89, called for a vote to ratify
or reject the formation of the Union Parks & Recreation District; and
WHEREAS, a majority voted in favor of said District at the 1989 General Election; 303 votes
were cast in favor and 101 votes against.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Union Parks & Recreation District is formed
as certified by the Mason County Auditor in the 1989 General Election.
DATED this 19th day of December, 1989.
