WHEREAS, tile Commissioners of Cemetery District #1 presented a petition to
thE Mason County Auditor,. signed y 105 registered voters in the DewattelTahuye
precincts, wherein they represcnted. annexation of Dewatto/Tahuya territory into
the Cemetery District #1. as provided by RCW 68,54'; and
WHEREAS, according to said lawn on Tuesky, July 11, 198.9, the Madan County
Auditor transmdtted said petition, together with a Certificate of Sufficiency as
to the number of valid signatures to the Board of Mason County Comedssioners.
OW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board. of Mason Codnty
Commissioners hereby receive the above petition and hereby fix August 15, 1939 at
the hour of 7:00 p.m. at the Tahuya Fire Hall, NE 14.8:80 North Shore Road, Tahuya,
Washington, for a public hearine on said petition, and directs the Clerk of the
Board to publish and post the necessary notices of said hearing, as required by
RCW 8.52 and ReW 68.54.
ADOPTED AND PASSED this 1.8th day of July, 1939.
