WHEREAS, in the judgement of the Board of Mason County Commissioners, Mason County
is in need of a larger area adjacent to the present Court House and Annex for
future expansion; and
WHEREAS, property and building meeting said qualifications has been appraised and
at the judgement of the Board of Mason County Commissioners the sales price of
said real estate is fair and equitable; and
WHEREAS, Simpson Employees' Federal Credit Union has submitted a closing
statement, Deed of Trust, and Promissory Note for purpose of sale of Lot 5 and 6,
Block G, David Shelton's First Addition to Shelton.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Mason County purchase Lots 5 and 6, Block G,
David Shelton's First Addition to Shelton for FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY SEVEN THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($457,000), with TWO HUNDRED FIFTY SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($257,000) paid
on closing and the balance paid on a promissory note secured by Deed of Trust.
The closing payment shall be taken against Cum Reserve #1 Fund and Other Reserves.
