COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO.: 1143-Revised
WHEREAS, an Mason County Road Mo. 44200_, known locally as the Lake Cushman
Road, and more specifically located in Sec's. 7.8.9. T23N. R4W. WM ,
M.P. 9.22 to M.P. 10.97 , work defined as "construction" in the BARS Manual, Page I1-63, et seq,
is determined to be necessary and proper; and,
WHEREAS, this project is identified as #15 (1985) 1 #8 (1969) on the officially •••ted County
Annual Road Program.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention to:
Perform Preliminary Engineering to grade, drain and surface approx. 1.7 mi. of road from the end of our
existing County Road(Leke Cushman Road to Mt. Rose Development, Div. 2, 3 & 4).
mg: : Any monies expended for this project shall be reimbursed to Mason County by property owners within
lake Cushman Development, Div. 2, 3 £ 4 and/or Forest Service.
and that said work is to be performed by Day labor/Contract in accordance with the Washington State
(day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costa of said project are herewith set out as follows:
Engineering & Construction $ 47.000
Right -of -Way $
Road Construction $ 240.000
Day Labor / Surface $ 50.000
Bridge Construction $
Engineer's Estimate in detail is on flit in the office of the County Engineer.
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County
Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136-18.
