WHEREAS, RCW 36.32.270 authorize the County Commissione

WHEREAS, the motor of the well pump has burned out resulting in loss of water
supply to the residence of Harstene Point; and
WHEREAS, an emergency exists at the Mason County Hartstene water system
involving the repair of the well pump, including removal, purchase of pump, and
installation of pump; and
WHEREAS, funding is available in the 1989 County sewer and water budget under
repair, of equipment, code 48.2.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency as defined by RCW 36.32.270
does exist and that the General Services Director is authorized to proceed
immediately to procure and install a new pump at the Hartstene well site.
