DISTRIBUTION OF FEDERAL FOREST FUNDS
WHEREAS, the County Commissioners were advised that the Treasurer had
received the amount of $440,513.44 in Federal Forest Funds, representing the first payment
of Federal Forest Funds for federal fiscal year 1990; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of County Commissioners to allocate 50%
of these funds to the Mason County School districts and 50% to the Mason County Road
Funds; and
WHEREAS, the Mason County Treasurer received from the Superintendent of
Educational Service District No. 113, his recommendations for the distribution of the 50%
which goes to the various school districts of Mason County, in the amount of $220,256.72.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the County Treasurer be
hereby directed to credit the County Road Fund with $220,256.72 and to make the following
distribution of $220,256.72 to the Mason County School District Funds as follows:
Southside School District #42
Grapeview School District #54
Shelton School District #309
Mary M. Knight School District #311
Pioneer School District #402
North Mason School District #403
Hood Canal School District #404
