RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO GRANT FRANCHISE AND NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners intends to grant a franchise for the
purpose of providing cable television service to specific areas of Mason County; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners have received an application to provide cable television service
by Evergreen Cable, Inc. (Lakes Division) P.O Box 357, Onalaska, Washington 98507; and
WHEREAS, Evergreen Cable Inc. (Lakes Division) has proposed to provide cable television
service for Phillips Lake, Spencer Lake, Timber Lakes and surrounding area.
WHEREAS, the franchise for cable television service sets forth provisions for a minimum nu
number of viewing channels, plus additional terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution Granting a Franchise is available in the office of the County
Commissioners for review;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners that
a call for public hearing is issued and is scheduled for December 18, 1990 at 8:00 p.m. for the
purpose of the citizens of Mason County to appear before the Board to express their interest
in, or objections to, the granting of a franchise to Evergreen Cable, Inc. (Lakes Division). The
public hearing will be held in the Commission Chambers in the Mason County Courthouse
Building I, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton, Washington.
ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 1990.
