HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-90 - Res. Mileage Reimbursement IncreasedRESOLUTION NO. 7 9- 9 0 MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT INCREASED WHEREAS, on February 26, 1981, the Board of Mason. County Commissioners set the rate of mileage reimbursement at 20 cents per mile for each mile necessary of travel for county officers using their own vehicles in the performance of their official duties; and WHEREAS, RCW 42.24.090 states "... the legislative body of any municipal corporation or political subdivision of the state may prescribe by ordinance or resolution the amounts to be paid to officers or employees thereof as reimbursement for the use of their personal automobiles or other transportation equipment in connection with officially assigned duties and other travel for publicly approved purposes." NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mason County Board of Commissioners that Resolution No. 13-81, adopted on February 26, 1981, be amended as follows: Reimbursement rate of mileage to be set at 26 cents a mile, to become effective the first day of November, 1990.
