COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO.- 1234

WHEREAS, on Mason County Road No. 51200 & 51300, known locally as Island Lake Road and Island
Lake Drive, respectively, more specifically located in Sec. 1 T20N R4W W.M. and Sec. 6 T20N R3W W.M.
M.P. 0.15 to M.P. 0.53 (Rd. #51200) and M.P. 0.44 to M.P. 1.18 (Rd. #51300), work defined as
"construction" in the BARS Manual, Page II-63, et seq, is determined to be necessary and proper® and,
WHEREAS, this project is identified as # 3 on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their intention to:
Right-of-Way Acquisition. Upgrade existing corridor by clearing, grubbing, grading,
shouldering, drainage and applying base gravel.
and that said work is to be performed by day labor/contract in accordance with the Washington State
(day labor/contract)
Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper, and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows:
Engineering $ 4,000.00
Right-of-Way $ 5,000.00
Road Construction $ 50,000.00
Bridge Construction $
Engineer's Estimate in detail is on file in the office of the County Engineer.
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity, and the County
Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law, provided and in
accordance with WAC 136-18.
ADOPTED this 2nd day of July 19 91
