LANDFILL & TRANSFER STATIONS RATES
WHEREAS, it is necessary to raise the rates at the Mason County Landfill and Transfer
Stations to meet maintenance and operation costs and to provide required capital for closure costs;
and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners held a public hearing on January 8, 1991 and received public
input;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the below listed rates are adopted as Mason
County's Landfill and Transfer Stations rates, effective March 1, 1991.
LANDFILL RATE
Compacted - cubic yard $10.75
Loose Yards - cubic yard $7.50
Min. to 30 Gallon - each $2.00
Appliances - each $9.50
(white goods, couches, T.V.'s mattresses, large chairs)
Tires (no rim) - each $2.50
Tires (with rim) - each $5.50
Batteries - each $1.00
Animals (small) - each* $5.00
Animals (large) - each* $10.00
55 Gallon Containers - each $3.60
Septage $0.09
Asbestos - cubic yard* $14.00
* Subject to $10.00 Burial Fee
TRANSFER STATIONS - BELFAIR/HOODSPORT/UNION RATE
Loose Yards $8.25
Min. to 30 Gallon - each $2.20
Appliances - each $10.50
(white goods, couches, T.V.'s mattresses, large chairs)
Tires (no rim) - each $2.75
Tires (with rim) - each $5.75
Batteries - each $1.00
55 Gallon Containers - each $3.85
