WHEREAS, individual line item budget deficits have occurred in individual salary,
personnel benefits, and operating expense budget line items in the 1992 Auditor and
Elections budgets.
WHEREAS, there are sufficient funds available within the total 1992 Auditor and
Elections Department budgets to eliminate the individual budget line item deficits.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS that the Auditor be allowed to transfer between all individual line items
within and between the 1992 Auditor and Elections Department budgets to eliminate the
deficit budget line items in those budgets.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, that this authority is granted the Auditor for the 1992 Auditor and
Elections Department Budgets only; and it is not the intent of this resolution to give the
Auditor budget authority above and beyond that of other Mason County Elected Officials
and/or Department Heads.
