WHEREAS, the following Mason County Road Projects involve road
improvements within existing county right-of-way limits :
CRP 1367 ANTHONY ROAD County Road No. 62670
WHEREAS, the County Engineer finds the need to dispose of
timber within the county rights-of-way during road construction;
and,
WHEREAS, it develops that merchantable timber may be salvaged
to the advantage of the county during the progress of the work;
and,
WHEREAS, the early expeditious removal of the timber from the
rights-of-way generated by the above-referenced County Road
Projects is essential for marketability of the timber and for the
progress of the road improvement. Carrel��?ncy c x,sr} &.AC-4
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Engineer be
hereby authorized and directed to negotiate for the sale of the
incidental log lots as produced in the course of the work under
County Road Project 1367, as referenced
above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer shall make an
effort to dispose of the timber to the best advantage of Mason
County and shall also keep the Board of County Commissioners
advised on the progress of this activity.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proceeds from the sales of
such timber logs be deposited in the County Road Fund.
