MASON COUNTY
EQUIPMENT RENTAL AND REVOLVING FUND
WRITE OFF OF ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE
WHEREAS, Mason County Equipment Rental and Revolving Fund has
carried Accounts Receivable for Vehicle Rental for the Mason County
Sheriff, Mason County Fair and Mason County Health Department
(Nursing) in the total amount of $24, 720 since 1989 ;
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners consider these
accounts receivable as uncollectible;
WHEREAS, the Office of Washington State Auditor discussed the
carrying of uncollectible accounts receivable in the Equipment
Rental and Revolving Fund General Ledger during our last audit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that the following Equipment Rental and Revolving
Fund Accounts Receivable be written off as uncollectible:
Mason County Sheriff $ 23 , 420 . 00
Mason County Fair 750 . 00
Mason County Health (Nursing) 550 . 00
$ 24, 720 . 00
