A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COMMISSIONERS SALARIES AND AMENDING
RESOLUTION NO. 109-90
WHEREAS, inflation and the increasing administrative responsibilities and duties
of the Mason County Commissioners justify a salary increase; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of Mason County and its taxpayers to
adequately pay the Board of County Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on July 14 and continued to July 28, to
receive public comments on Commissioners' salaries;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF AS COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, that Resolution No. 109-90 is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1. THAT, the annual salaries of the Mason County Commissioners
for the years 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 and subsequent year shall be as follows:
1993-$41,000 1994-$43,000 1995-$45,000 1996-$47,000
: and 3% each year thereafter.
Section 2. THAT, medical insurance, health and life insurance coverage
benefits of each elected official of Mason County shall be the same as the coverage
provided for other employees of Mason County.
Section 3. THAT, if any provision of this resolution, or its application to
any person or circumstance is held invalid, the remainder of the resolution, or the
application to other persons or circumstances is not affected.
Section 4. THAT, this resolution shall be in full force and effect as of July
28, 1992 and shall so remain until duly and lawfully amended or repealed.
