(AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 2-91)
LANDFILL, TRANSFER STATIONS & HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTES ROOM
Whereas, it is necessary to amend Resolution No. 2-91 adopted March
1, 1991 to set the rates at the Mason County Landfill and Transfer
Stations to meet maintenance and operation costs and to provide
required capital for closure® and
Whereas, this Amendment does not effect the existing rate structure
established per Resolution No. 2-91; and
Whereas, this Amendment is necessary to incorporate rates needed to
offset a portion of costs needed to operate a Household Hazardous
Waste Collection Facility® and
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on
July 14, 1992 and received public input®
Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the rates listed below are
adopted to collect latex/oil base paints and pesticides at the
Mason County Sanitary Landfill, effective September 1992 . Those
rates adopted in Resolution No. 2-91 and listed below remain the
same.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE RATE
(LATEX/OIL BASE PAINT PESTICIDES) $5.00 PER VEHICLE WITH
UP TO 3 GALLONS O

$.50 PER HALF GALLON
FOR THAT OVER 3
GALLONS. THE MINIMUM
