ROAD JURISDICTION CHANGES
WHEREAS, the Washington State 1991 legislative session passed
road jurisdiction legislation which amended RCW 47. 17 . Said
amendment affects four (4) Mason County Roads; three (3)
transferring from County jurisdiction to State jurisdiction: and
one (1) transferring from State jurisdiction to County jurisdiction
as follows:
Transferring from Mason County to State
1) Lake Cushman Road (County Road No. 442GO) - milepost 0 . 00 to
9 .29 (all)
becomes SR 119 from milepost 0 . 00 to, 9 .29 ,
2) Staircase Road (County Road No. 44250) - milepost 0 . 00 to
1. 64 (all)
becomes SR 119 from milepost 9 .29 to 10 . 93,
3)Victor Cut-Off Road (County Road No. 69860) - milepost 0 . 00
to 1.26 (all)
becomes SR 302 from milepost 0 . 00 to 1.26 .
Transferring From State to Mason County
1) SR 302 from milepost 0 . 00 to 1 . 96, (that portion from SR 3
at Allyn northerly and easterly, to the Victor Cut Off Road)
becomes a County maintained road, from mile post
0 . 00 to 1.96, Road name to be North Bay, road
number to be No. 68360 .
WHEREAS, the above listed transfers become effective
April 1, 1992,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Mason
County Commissioners, that North Bay Road, as referenced above, be
established as a part of the Mason County Maintained Road System,
and the Mason County Engineer be directed to proceed with said
establishment and maintenance.
