Claims Imprest Checking Accounty RESOLUTION NO. i"'i ' CLAIMS IMPREST CHECKING ACCOUNT WHEREAS, It is necessary for Mason County to process small claims against the County in a timely manner, WHEREAS, an imprest checking account would allow the County to pay allowable small claims more promptly, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an imprest checking account in the amount of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000.00) be established for the CUMULATIVE RESERVE/DEDUCTIBLE INSURANCE FUND (FUND#127) and for the payment of small claims and as outlined below: 1) Only small claims under ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) and approved by the Board of County Commissioners may be paid from this imprest checking account. 2) Two signatures will be required on each check written on this imprest checking account: the Deputy Prosecutor (assigned to Risk Management) or his/her alternate, and the Risk Manager for Mason County or his/her alternate. 3) The County shall comply with all of the requirements listed in Chapter 3.
