IN THE MATTER OF:
EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION - NOTICE OF HEARING:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-93
DATED AND PASSED: JULY 27, 1993
FOR EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION OF
$6,160.00 FOR THE CURRENT EXPENSE FUND.
WHEREAS, this emergency appropriation is necessary to meet an outstanding
obligation of the Current Expense Fund for computer software to comply with state
mandated Forest Fire Protection assessments, billings, collections, and disbursements.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held in accordance with RCW 36.40.140 and with
Resolution 74-93 (See Attachment B which is incorporated as part of this order),
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS hereby approves the emergency
appropriation in the amount of $6,160.00 for the Current Expense Fund (Assessor $3,300,
Treasurer $2,860) to be expended as follows:

EMERGENCY APPROPRIATION - NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, by reason of conditions which could not be reasonably foreseen at the
time of making the budget for the year 1993, it is necessary to make provision for emergency
appropriation(s) to the budget as required by RCW 36.40.140, to meet an outstanding
obligation of the Current Expense fund for computer software to comply with new State
mandated Forest Fire Protection Assessments, billings, collections, and disbursements.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners:
That the 10th day of August, 1993 at the hour of 10:45 a.m., the Board of Mason
County Commissioners at Courthouse Building 1, 411 North Fifth Street, Shelton,
Washington, be and the same hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon
the matter of the emergency appropriation(s) to the budgets for the following current
expense Departments:
Assessor $3,300
Treasurer I2...860
Total $6,160
for the above mentioned purposes.
The Clerk of the Board be and hereby is authorized, empowered, and directed to
cause notice of such hearing to be published as provided by law.
