PICKERING ROAD AND HARTSTENE BRIDGE ROAD
WHEREAS, citizens have expressed concerns regarding a traffic hazard that
exists due to vehicles parking on the paved shoulder of Pickering Road and the
Hartstene Bridge Road from Pickering Lane to the guard rail between the Hartstene
Bridge Road and Latimer's Landing parking area; and,
WHEREAS, the Mason County Department of Public Works have requested the
Board of Mason County Commissioners to restrict parking along a portion of the
Pickering Road and a portion of the Hartstene Bridge Road.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held and comments were received; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public and public safety to
restrict parking on these sections of said roads.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that no parking shall be allowed on the
the easterly shoulder of Pickering Road from Mile Post 3.32 to Mile Post 3.41 and
along the Hartstene Bridge Road from Mile Post 0.00 to approximate Mile Post 0.06
(end of existing guard rail at Latimer's Landing).
