WHEREAS, members of the Board of Directors of the Economic Development
Council have been designated by the Mason County Board of Commissioners as the
Overall Economic Development Program Committee for Mason County, Washington; and
WHEREAS, the Overall Economic Development Program Committee has written
and accepted an Overall Economic Development Plan (OEDP) Update for Mason County,
Washington; and,
WHEREAS, this OEDP shall be updated each year; and
WHEREAS, this OEDP Update is required before U.S. Department of Commerce
funding for infrastructure projects in Mason County can be considered;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mason County Board of
Commissioners does hereby endorse the Overall Economic Development Plan Update
for Mason County, Washington, and request that the document be forwarded to the
Region 10 office of the Economic Development Administration, U. S. Department of
Commerce.
