TOTTEN/LITTLE SKOOKUM CLEAN WATER DISTRICT FEES
WHEREAS, RCW 90.72.030 authorizes the County to establish a Shellfish
Protection District and the Totten/Little Skookum Clean Water District, a Shellfish
Protection District, was formed on January 5, 1993;
WHEREAS, RCW 90.72.070 authorizes the County to establish fees to finance a
protection program for Totten/Little Skookum Clean Water District;
WHEREAS, the County desires to prevent water quality degradation in the
Totten/Little Skookum Watershed.
WHEREAS, a citizen advisory committee of citizens from the watershed endorse
and recommend the protection program and the $45 fee.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Board of Mason County
Commissioners that an annual fee of $45 per household in the Totten/Little Skookum
Clean Water District for 1993 shall be established to finance a protection program. The
term household is defined as each parcel of property with a septic system on it.
