Establishing 1993 County Holidays RESOLUTION NO. 10-93 WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners has negotiated specific holidays with the bargaining units representing the Mason County employees, WHEREAS, District Court and Superior Court are courts of record and shall be open except on non-judicial days; and other supporting offices must be open on non- judicial days if required by RCW, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the holidays established under RCW 1.16.050 as legal holidays are non-judicial days and recognized by Mason County as holidays: New Year's Day (First Day of January) Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Third Monday of January) Washington's Birthday (President's Day) (Third Monday of February) Memorial Day (Last Monday of May) Independence Day (Fourth day of July) Labor Day (First Monday in September) Veterans' Day (Eleventh day of November) Thanksgiving Day (Fourth Thursday in November) Day Immediately Following Thanksgiving Christmas Day (Twenty-fifth day of December) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following are approved County holidays and recognized as judicial days: Lincoln's Birthday (Twelfth day of February) Floating Holiday Effective January 1, 1993. , day DATED thisAt of January, 1993.
