ESTABLISH SPEED LIMIT / SCHOOL ZONE
SKOKOMISH VALLEY ROAD
County Road No® 41640
WHEREAS, the Hood Canal Middle Skokomish Campus is located at
West 2300 Skokomish Valley Road (approximate Mile Post 2 . 19 to Mile
Post 2 . 33) ; and,
WHEREAS, Mason County Code No. 10 . 52 .325 and RCW 46 . 61 .440
designates that, when passing a school, the speed limit may be
posted at 20 miles per hour, as required by school activity.
NOW, THEREFORE , IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that a 20 mph speed
limit will be appropriately posted on Skokomish Valley Road (County
Road No. 41640) in conformance with the aforementioned Mason County
Code and RCW, and the County Engineer is directed to erect the
necessary signs in conformity herewith.
