WASTEWATER GRANT APPLICATION AND AGREEMENT FOR THE NORTH BAY/CASE
INLET WASTEWATER FACILITIES
WHEREAS , Mason County intends to undertake- d design project-, to
include wastewater collection, along with transmission, treatment
and disposal facilities for North Bay/Case inlet; and
WHEREAS , the County is trying to eliminate the public health hazard
in North Bay and also comply with the contents of Consent Order No ,
DE 93WQ-SI94 ; and
WHEREAS , the design cost of the wastewater facility is eligible for
50% state matching grant funding plus financial hardship .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County.
Commissioners, that
1 . The Chairperson of the Board is duly authorized to sign
said grant agreements, aMeDdments, and other, documents
relating to this wastewater facility design grant, upon
approval of the majority of the Board of County
Commissioners .
2 . The Mason County Director of Community Development is
authorized to Sign airy applicarion for said qrant on
behalf of Mason County.
