1994 BUDGET
SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION BUDGET - NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, by reason of conditions which could not be foreseen at the time of
making the budget for the year 1994, it is necessary to make provision for supplemental
appropriations to the budget as required by RCW 36.40.100, due to additional funds from
Mental Health; the Lower Hood Canal Clean Water District; well inspection fees; WA State
urgent needs, consolidated contract and WIC grant funds; a Current Expense Fund
Operating Transfer and private donations. These funds will be used to fund a new
Technical Administrator position in Health Services Administration; additional part-time
clerical support in Personal Health Nursing, an increase in the hours of the Nurse
Practitioner, an Environmental Health Specialist for the well inspection program, the
recently approved 1994 Teamster Union wage and benefit increases and other
miscellaneous expenditures.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners:
That the 21st day of June, 1994 at the hour of 7:40 p.m.. the Board of Mason
County Commissioners at Courthouse Building 1, Shelton, Washington, be and the same
is hereby fixed as the time and place for a public hearing upon the matter of the
supplemental appropriation to the budget for the following funds and estimated amounts:
Health Services Administration $32,314
Water Quality $11,284
Personal Health/Nursing $47,596
Environmental Health $43,534
Current Expense/GHCF Staff Support $20,815
Current Expense/N ondepartmental $ 64
for the above-mentioned purposes. The Clerk of the Board is hereby authorized,
empowered, and directed to cause notice of hearing to be published as provided by law.
