ANNEXATION BY PETITION PER RCW 52.04.051
FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT #4
WHEREAS, residents of Delanty Road have petitioned for annexation into Mason
County Fire Protection District No. 4, an area of land currently contiguous to the District.
A legal description and plat map of the area to be annexed are attached. (Attachment
A)
WHEREAS, the petition has been certified as being more than sixty percent of the
qualified registered electors residing within the proposed area to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Mason County Fire Protection District No. 4
have recommended this annexation be approved and concur that an election in the
territory shall be dispensed with; and
WHEREAS, the financial obligation of the area to be annexed shall become
subject to the indebtedness, bonded or otherwise, of the existing district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County
Commissioners that this annexation be approved.

of the SE 1/4, then North to Lake Blvd in the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 ( Shelton City
Limits), then SW along Lake Blvd (Shelton City Limits) to the SW comer of the NW 1/4
of the NE 1/4 (Shelton City Limits).
