A RESOLUTION REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 79-95
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 79-95 was approved on August 1, 1995 by the Board
of Mason County Commissioners submitting a ballot proposition to the Mason County
Auditor to authorize a one-tenth of one percent sales tax to be used solely for the purpose
of providing funds for costs associated with financing, design, acquisition, construction,
equipping, operating, maintaining, remodeling, repairing, re-equipping, and improvement of
juvenile detention facilities and jails; and
WHEREAS, the criminal justice community has recommended the Board repeal
Resolution No. 79-95 withdrawing the ballot proposition; and
WHEREAS, the Board discussed the recommendation in an open meeting on
September 12, 1995; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the public to present this ballot proposition at
a later date;
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,that Resolution No. 79-95 is hereby declared
to be fully repealed.
