A RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF RESOLUTION 30-94,
WHICH IMPLEMENTED THE INTERIM RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT POLICIES
FOR THE SOUTHEAST MASON COUNTY SUBAREA.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 30-94 was adopted on March 1, 1994, remained in effect for a six month
period that ended on September 1, 1994, and was extended by Resolution No. 88-94 for a six month
period ending on March 1, 1995; and
WHEREAS, Mason County Department of Community Development has been working with citizens
of this subarea to integrate the Southeast Mason County Subarea Plan into the updating of the Mason
County Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS, elements of an implementing ordinance to the Comprehensive Plan will be included as
part of the preferred alternative for the Comprehensive Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The Mason County Board of Commissioners hereby amends Resolution No. 30-94 to extend by six
months the effective period of the interim measure that implements the residential development
policies set forth in the Southeast Mason County Subarea Plan. The interim measure shall now
remain in effect until September 1, 1995 or until a Comprehensive Plan implementing ordinance is
adopted by the Mason County Board of Commis°sioners. This resolution also extends the effective
period of Resolution No. 69-94, adopted on July 19, 1994, which provides a variance procedure for
cases of demonstrated hardship.
