RE: Zenith Group NW,LLC Property(Parcel#22018-51-00067)Septic Upgrade from 2 to 3-bedrooms
Dear Inspector:
Attached is an upgrade septic design for a property located at 51 E Can PI W, Shelton,WA 98584 in the
Timerlake community. There is an existing 2-bedroom septic system that the records show was installed in
2008. The existing system has a 1,200-gallon 2-compartment septic tank with an effluent filter and the
existing gravity loop drainfield is 10' wide x 24' long,for a total of 240 s.f..
The system has been used for many years with a park-model trailer. The new owners are planning to install a
new 3-bedroom manufactured home. A current Operation& Maintenance inspection of the existing septic
will be performed soon.
In order to increase the septic size from a 2-bedroom to a 3-bedroom,we will add another equally sized bed
of 10' wide x 24' long,or 240 s.f..,effectively up-sizing the whole drainfield to 480 s.f.total(450 s.f.
required with 0.8 app rate). A flow-splitter or 3`d D-box will be needed to ensure equal flow to both beds.
This is a compliant upgrade with 36"+of vertical separation. There are no surface water or well setback
issues and we have designated a full reserve drainfield area.
The property owner's contact information is as follows:
