A RESOLUTION TO EXTEND THE EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF RESOLUTION NO. 93-95,
WHICH EXTENDED THE INTERIM RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT POLICIES FOR
THE SOUTHEAST MASON COUNTY SUBAREA.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 30-94 was adopted on March 1, 1994, remained in effect for a six month
period that ended on September 1, 1994, and was extended by Resolutions No. 88-94, No. 14-95,
and No. 93-95 for six month periods ending on March 1, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 69-94, adopted on July 19, 1994, amended Resolution No. 30-94 to
include a variance procedure to consider cases of demonstrated hardship; and
WHEREAS, Mason County Department of Community Development has been working with citizens
of this subarea to integrate the Southeast Mason County Subarea Plan into the updating of the Mason
County Comprehensive Plan and implementing ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
The Mason County Board of Commissioners hereby amends Resolution No. 93-95 to extend by six
months the effective period of the interim measure that implements the residential development
policies set forth in the Southeast Mason County Subarea Plan. The interim measure shall now
remain in effect until September 1, 1996 or until a Comprehensive Plan implementing ordinance is
adopted by the Mason County Board of Commissioners.
