WHEREAS, on September 16, 1997, the Board of Mason County
Commissioners adopted Ordinance No. 107-97, amending Mason .County
Addressing Ordinance No. 1091; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 107-97 amended Section 3 . 04, Structure
Addressing, to read: ". . . . . . . .Mile Point Number, District
Indicator, and Road Name. . . . . . . ," which resulted in changing all
addresses within Mason County by placing the directional after the
address number; and
WHEREAS, to facilitate this address change requirement, it is
necessary to change the names of existing roads that have the
directional at the beginning, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held December 16, 1997, to
afford the public an opportunity to provide input regarding those
road names which are to be changed® and,
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the citizens
of Mason County to change the names of the following Mason County
roads:"'

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Mason County
Commissioners do hereby approve the above listed road name changes,
both on Private Roads and the roads which are part of the Mason
County', Maintained Road System.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Engineer is hereby
directed to erect the necessary signs on the above referenced
County Maintained Roads only.
