If the final inspection has been performed, please send a photo copy of the orange building permit with the signature and date of final inspection so that we may update our files . Pursuant to the Uniform Building Code, Table 3 -A and Mason County permit fee charts, the building official has the authority to charge $25 . 00 for inspections on expired permits, an expired permit is defined as a permit with no activity within a 180 day period. However, if you find that you do not have record of the final inspection, we will waive the final inspection fee of $25 . 00 if you contact our office prior to January 14, 1996 to arrange for the inspection. All permits to which there is no response will be marked null and void by expiration. Any request for a final inspection after the permit has been voided will require the inspection fee to be paid.
