A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AN ADVISORY BALLOT FOR A LOCAL
VOTERS' PAMPHLET.
WHEREAS, the Mason County Auditor has requested the County Commissioners submit an advisory
proposition on the General Election for a Local Voters'pamphlet; and
WHEREAS, RCW 29.81A authorizes and regulates a local votes' pamphlet;
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners to call for the
submission of the following advisory proposition to the qualified voters of Mason County at the general
election to be held November 4th, 1997 for their ratification or rejection.

PROPOSITION NO. I
LOCAL VOTERS PAMPHLET
(State law provides that the Board of County Commissioner's may adopt an ordinance by law for a local
voters pamphlet funded through the elections department and charge to districts as an election expense).
Shall the Mason County Commissioners adopt an ordinance for a local voters pamphlet supported by your
tax dollars?
