COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO.:
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO,: 1566
WHEREAS,on Mason County Road No. 68600 ,known locally as the Lake Devereaux Road,and more
specifically located in Section 8,Township 22 North,Range I West,W.M. ,M.P. 0.24 to M.P. 0.26 ,work
defined as "construction"in the BARS Manual,Page II-63,et seq,is determined to be necessary and proper;and,
WHEREAS,this project is identified as#4 on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program.
THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
intention to:
Perform preliminary engineering,right of way acquisition,construction and surface with 2 shots Bituminous
Surface Treatment. The area is approximatley 100 feet in length(to be used for a tum-around).
SAID WORK to be performed by day labor in accordance with the Washington State Standard Specifications
for Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper,and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows:
Engineering $ 1,000.00
Right-of-Way $ 3,000.00
Road Construction $ 5,000.00
The County Road Project herein described is hereby declared to be a public necessity,and the County Road Engineer is
HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law,provided and in accordance with
WAC 136-18.
ADOPTED this 12th day of August 19 97.
