WHEREAS, Mason County has established a Health and Wellness Committee to
benefit all County employees to promote health and wellness by education, health fairs,
and employee events; and
WHEREAS, this committee has been funded solely by a small limited annual grant
sponsored by the Washington Counties Insurance Fund and can function only within
the restraints of the funds received; and
WHEREAS, the Health and Wellness Committee has been offered timber that was cut
for the purpose of improving county facilities and will be used in a fund raising event.
The funds will be used in elevating good health awareness to all employees of Mason
County.
HEREBY, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Mason County Commissioners approve
the donation of this timber to the Health Wellness Comittee to help raise funds to assist
in promotion of Health and Wellness to all County Employees.
