COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO.: 62-97
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO.: 1565
WHEREAS,on Mason County Road No. 70390 ,known locally as the North Shore Road,and more
specifically located in Section 1 .Township 22 North,Range 2 West.W.M. ,M.P. 13.25 to M.P. 13.45 ,work defined
as"construction"in the BARS Manual,Page II-63,et seq,is determined to be necessary and proper;and,
WHEREAS,this project is identified as# 18R on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program.
THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
intention to:
Perform slide debris removal and bank stabilization(preliminary engineering,right of way acquisition
and construction.
Said work is to be performed by contract in accordance with the Washington State Standard Specifications for
Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper,and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows:
Engineering $ 100,000.00
Right-of-Way $ 35.000.00
Construction
(Bank Stabilization,etc.) $ 1,365,000.00
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity,and the County
Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law,provided and in
accordance with WAC 136-18.
ADOPTED this loth day of June, 19 97 .
