COMMISSIONERS RESOLUTION NO.:
COUNTY ROAD PROJECT NO.: 1564
WHEREAS,on Mason County Road No. 39630 ,known locally as North Island Drive ,and more
specifically located in Section 25 ,Township 21 North,Range 2 West,W.M. ,M.P. 0.31 to M.P. 1.31,work
defined as "construction" in the BARS Manual,Page II-63,et seq,is determined to be necessary and proper;and,
WHEREAS, this project is identified as# 17R on the officially adopted County Annual Road Program.
** ITEM NO. 18 on the Six Year Transportation Improvement Program 1997 to 2002
'ITIE,REFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS that it is their
Intention to:
Perform preliminary engineering and right of way acquisition.
Said work is to be performed by Contract in accordance with the Washington State Standard Specifications for
Road and Bridge Construction as adopted by Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described County Road Project is necessary and proper,and the
estimated costs of said project are herewith set out as follows:
Engineering $ 40,000.00
Right-of-Way $ 45,000.00
Road Construction $
Bridge Construction $
The County Road Project herein described is HEREBY DECLARED to be a public necessity,and the County
Road Engineer is HEREBY ORDERED AND AUTHORIZED to report and proceed thereon as by law,provided and in
accordance with WAC 136-18.
ADOPTED this 22nd day of April 19 97 .
