A RESOLUTION TO AMEND MASON COUNTY CODE CHAPTER 9.04.420 RESTRICTED LAKES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners received a petition with over 25
signatures, per Mason County Code 9.04.230, to consider restrictions on Lake Devereaux; and
WHEREAS,a public hearing was held on March 25, 1997 and the Board considered the testimony
received;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners effective
May 1, 1997, Lake Devereaux will be listed as a Restricted Lake under Mason County Code 9.04.420.
Internal combustion (i.e. gasoline and/or diesel) powered watercrafts shall be prohibited (electric motors
only are allowed); and a sign shall be posted prior to May 1, 1997.
PASSED this 8th day of April, 1997.
